field zoning and prescription mapping

Utilising latest analytic software available, AGree Consultants are able to produce field management zones created from historical and current data using yield data, imagery and soil sample data.

These in turn can be used to create specific prescription maps to optimise field inputs and returns.

Maps include:

  • Nutrient replacement maps (Nitrogen, Phosphorus etc.)

  • Manure application maps.

  • Lime and gypsum application maps.

  • Pesticide application maps (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, moluscicides, baiting)

  • Soil cultivation improvement maps.

  • Seeding maps.

Everything that happens to a field should be recorded with spatial attributes. This means that every farm operation, whether it affects the entire field, part of the field or a point within the field, it should have a latitude and longitude associated with it.

Various maps can be combined to create new information-based layers and reports that lead to better management decisions.

Management Zones

Management zones can be easily created from existing layers of data, such as yield layers, field imagery, soil types, fertility classifications or tillage operations. Management zones can be used to aid decision-making throughout the season, to guide crop scouting and sampling and product applications.

Variable Rate Applications

Manage fertility in field by utilising nutrient surface maps and corresponding product application maps. Product application files can be exported to a number of different controllers. Beyond fertility, use information to create variable rate planting recommendations.
